Broken Pipes announcement: John eels

Dear members and friends, 

We are so very sad to report that our friend, John Eels, passed away. John was a founding CORPS member, joining in 1985. He was the CORPS treasurer for quite a few years, a Doctor of Pipes, a master pipe maker, and a well-known pipeman in the worldwide community. He made many of our CORPS "Pipes of the Year". He will be greatly missed.

We are so very sad to report that a longtime CORPS member, our friend, our mentor, the positive voice of goodwill and laughter, our unofficial Conclave photographer, and our Facebook overseer, Robert Grosz Sr., passed away at 6:08 this evening, the 19th of January, 2022.

Linwood Hines

ISENBERG, LTC (U.S. Army, Ret.) William Clarence, 85, passed away on December 11, 2021. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph M. and Elizabeth Jane Isenberg. He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Pat Isenberg; three children, Mark Isenberg (Nancy), Debbie Luthy (Doug) and Kim Berkley (Doug); five grandchildren, Christina Harding (Matthew), Phil O'Bryan, Frankie O'Bryan, Savannah Isenberg (Ian) and Tori Isenberg. Bill proudly served in the U.S. Army for over 20 years, having worked as a law enforcement officer, foreign area officer, and parachutist. He went on to own and operate a local security company. He was an original member of the Conclave of Richmond Pipe Smokers (CORPS) (1984). Bill was a loving and supportive husband, father, and grandfather. His service, to be held at St. David's Episcopal Church in Chesterfield, will be announced in January.
